Belize Day 5

Today was our last day in Belize. Of course, the weather was beautiful!!! We woke up extra early, packed our bags and got on the boat to go to San Pedro for church.

On our ride to church, our captain pulled over and pointed out dolphins swimming near by. We sat for a little while and observed the dolphins.

Church was held in a small 3 room building.

After church, we got back on the boat and went to Belize City where we took a taxi to the airport. We got back to cold Utah at 11:30pm (12:30am Belize time) It was a wonderful trip!!!

Belize Day 4

So, this morning since we were on the beautiful island, we decided to roll out of bed and head down to lay out by the pool. Unfortunately, we woke up to pouring rain and thick dark clouds. So we hung around for awhile, but the rain eventually stopped so we decided to go kayaking.

Finally, the sun came out so we went out snorkeling. But the sun didn't stay out very long. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of snorkeling because we couldn't find any water cameras for sale. But... we saw sting rays, all sorts of fish, sharks (we even pet a shark), an eel, lobster, and all sorts of coral. It was so much fun.

San Pedro:

I realize I keep mentioning food, but when we came back from San Pedro we had delicious burritos that we had picked up at Fido's in San Pedro, and had delicious piña coladas at the resort.
