BYU Football

Today, Connie took me to my first BYU Football game. I know... to some of you that just seems to be a sin to have not gone until now. It was BYU vs. Colorado State. It was tons of fun. If you look at this picture up close you can see the football flying towards the receiver. He caught it... but for whatever reason they didn't count the touchdown. It was still fun to be that close to the action. BYU won: 42-23.

Megan's Wedding

I got to go to my cousin, Megan's wedding tonight. I was fun to see some of my relatives.

Chilli's Gorge Fest

Tonight we had our annual Chilli's Gorge Fest. I definitely felt a little sick when we were done.

Marshmallow War

Last night I went to an MBA dinner at Brian Henderson's house. He had a fire pit in the back yard so we had s'mores. Yum... I love s'mores. Unfortunately, I don't have appropriate pictures... but the night turned into a huge marshmallow fight in Brian's backyard.

Funny Story

Today, Konnie and I decided it would be fun to go cliff jumping with some friends. We headed out a little later than everyone else so when we go there it was getting pretty dark. Konnie didn't hesitate as she jumped off the cliff. However, Jeff was behind her and kept shouting that there was something in the water. He jumped anyway and a few minutes later, his head popped out of the water with a bright light glowing in the darkness.

He had jumped in and dove toward a bright light at the bottom of the murky pool of water, only to discover Konnie had left her cell phone in her pocket and it fell out when she hit the water. It was quite the event.

Peach Festival

This weekend Paul came up to Grand Junction and we went to the Peach Festival in Palisade, CO. The peaches were delicious. Obama was in Grand Junction so it was good to be out of the traffic.It was a beautiful semi-cloudy day.
We saw lamas...
...And a train pulling people. See the yellow engine in the front? There is actually someone in there driving.
Then we drove to Cameo to walk by the Colorado River, and we skipped rocks. I discovered that Paul is much better at skipping rocks than I am.

San Diego - Day 8

Today we flew back to Colorado. :( We'll miss California and seeing Grandma B everyday.
